Local transcription
Local media is decoded and transcribed in your browser. Your audio and transcript are not sent to our transcription servers in local mode. Downloading model files contacts the model hosting provider. Local history uses browser storage and can be deleted on your device.
Accounts and cloud processing
If you create an account, we store your account information and login sessions. Cloud uploads are stored privately in Cloudflare R2 and processed by our Whisper service on Modal. Cloud transcripts are associated with your account. You can delete cloud history through the dashboard.
Payments
Dodo Payments handles checkout and payment details. We store subscription status, payment references and confirmed amounts to manage access and billing support. Card details are entered with the payment provider.
Analytics
Cloudflare provides traffic and performance statistics. If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to measure website visits, traffic sources and tool interactions. The Google tag is not loaded before you opt in. We do not send media, transcript text, email addresses or filenames as analytics event parameters. Authentication tokens and provider payment identifiers are removed from reported page URLs. With your analytics consent, a confirmed purchase can report its plan, currency, amount and a separate random transaction reference for deduplication. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. You can change your choice below; choosing Essential only stops further Google Analytics collection.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services
Questions and deletion requests
Contact support@whisperai.dev about your data. You can remove local history on your device and cloud history from your workspace. Email support to request help with account deletion. Payment records needed for billing and legal obligations may be retained after account deletion.
